TheFamily Dances, an entity of TFD Global Arts, designs and facilitates customized programs for dance and capoeira, an African Brazilian martial art. Our programs serve youth, families, communities, and organizations.
We are based in Washington, DC and travel globally performing, teaching, and cultivating dynamic, family-centered, and family-accessible arts spaces and programs.
Our home studio also functions as a family-ready, creativity center for our community. In addition to our dance and capoeira offerings, we also support creative explorations in writing, performance, birth work, family-centered learning, and creative entrepreneurship.
