SET C: Capoeira Foundations
Capoeira is my favorite thing to do. It’s a beautiful art form, an African Brazilian martial art, a dance, a fight, and a game. It’s also a full-body workout, and if you follow along with today’s practice, you’ll find every part of your body is engaged, warm, and stretched out. Capoeira increases flexibility, coordination, endurance, and balance. The exercises here encourage optimal alignment and thoroughly work the muscles in the back, legs, and arms. Capoeira’s fluid movements also support greater stability in the knees and ankles. Every time you practice capoeira you’re boosting your blood circulation and your energy level.
